Lakeside PA Systems - LVC & Station (Training)
How To: Send a Pre-recorded Message (Training)
This article will explain how to use the PA system for Lakeside Station & LVC Booking office.
Messages / PA Announcements
- Zones are selected by default. For any changes to the default zones please consult the IT team.
The zones displayed in bright pink are enabled and the PA will play to these zones.
2. The "select message area" box automatically changes the zones. "LVC" should be used for the booking office PA. "Station" should be used for the Lakeside Station. "Events" will only be used for special event announcements.
3. The "Delay Message Before Page" box will delay a message by the selected amount of time if the necessity arises. By selecting "none", there will be no delay for the message. If selecting 1 minute, there will be a 1 minute delay from when you tap "Start Messages"
4. The "Select Messages" box is where you can select the message that will be sent across the announcement. Once the message is selected, press "Start Messages" in the green box down the bottom. The announcement will begin broadcasting through the selected zones.
How to: Live Page (Training)
Live Paging
If the paging announcement is for the standard areas you can press the button the microphone and talk.

If you need to change what areas the announcement is going to please keep reading.
1. The "Live Paging" or "Paging" tab is where you will be able to select the zones (areas) to announce to with the microphone.
2. The buttons highlighted in bright pink are the areas the announcement will be broadcast. The zones selected below are the default zones for the Lakeside Station. The unselected zones are the default zones for inside the LVC.
The selected zones are saved when clicked, if these are changed please be sure to change them back.

3. Once the zones have been selected press the button on the microphone and begin to talk.

How to: Send a Pre-recorded Message (Training)
- Click the tab at the top labelled "Pre-Recorded Messages".
- Once on this screen you can select the zone (location) of which you would like the announcement to take place. Selecting all will broadcast the message to all locations. Bright Pink is selected.
- After the zone is selected you can choose to deploy a delay in the announcement with the "select pre-message delay" field.
- A message that you would like to be broadcasted can then be selected in the "select messages" panel. Once the message is selected "start messages" is then selected to start the broadcast.
How to: Live Page (Training)
Live Paging
If the paging announcement is for the standard areas you can press the button the microphone and talk.

If you need to change what areas the announcement is going to please keep reading.
- If you want to change the areas for a live announcement you can click on the tab open the top right hand corner of the screen.
- You can then select what zone you would like to deploy the announcement. If you select "select all", it will deploy the announcement to all zones.
- Once the zone is selected you can push and hold the talk button on the microphone to talk and deploy the live page.
How to: Adjust Volume in Cafe
Cafe Volume
- The "cafe volume" tab is used to lower or increase the volume of the music inside the cafe. Simply slide the bar up or down.
Menzies Creek PA System (Training)

Currently there is only 1 Audio Zone at Menzies Creek. Due to this zone control for the announcement is not required.
- Firstly you can choose to delay in the announcement with the "select pre-message delay" field.
- You can then select a message that you would like to broadcast in the "Select Messages" panel. Once the message is selected "Start Messages" is then selected to start the broadcast.
- if you need to adjust the volume you can use the Message slider under Audio Levels

If no sound adjustment needs to be made please press and hold the button on the microphone and talk
- If you need to change how loud the microphone is you can adjust it using the Mics slider
- You can then push and hold the talk button on the microphone to talk and speak into the microphone.
Emerald PA System (Training)
How to: Send a Pre-recorded Message (Training)
Currently there is only 1 Audio Zone at Emerald Station. Due to this zone control for the announcement is not required.
- Firstly you can choose to delay in the announcement with the "select pre-message delay" field.
- Select a message that you would like to broadcast in the "Select Messages" panel. Once the message is selected "Start Messages" is then selected to start the broadcast.
- if you need to adjust the volume you can use the Message slider under Audio Levels

Live Paging
If no sound adjustment needs to be made please press and hold the button on the microphone and talk
- If you need to change how loud the microphone is you can adjust it using the Exernal Mix or Shure Mic slider
External Mic - The external microphone is located in the box outside of the safe working room.
Shure Mic - This microphone is located inside the safe working room
- After any adjustment have been made if needed, you can then push and hold the button on the microphone to talk and speak into the microphone.
Gembrook PA System (Training)

Currently there is only 1 Audio Zone at Menzies Creek. As such control for where the announcement is sent is not required.
- You can choose to delay in the announcement with the "select pre-message delay" field. This is not required, and none is the default option
- Select a message that you would like to broadcast in the "Select Messages" panel. Once the message is selected "Start Messages" is then selected to start the broadcast.
- If you would like to adjust the volume you can use the Message slider under Audio Levels
