# How to: Send a Pre-recorded Message (Training)

<p class="callout info">Currently there is only 1 Audio Zone at Emerald Station. Due to this zone control for the announcement is not required. </p>

1. Firstly you can choose to delay in the announcement with the "**select pre-message delay**" field.

2. Select a message that you would like to broadcast in the "**Select Messages**" panel. Once the message is selected "**Start Messages**" is then selected to start the broadcast.

1. If you need to change how loud the microphone is you can adjust it using the **Exernal Mix** or **Shure Mic** slider

    ##### **External Mic -** The external microphone is located in the box outside of the safe working room.
    
    ##### **Shure Mic -** This microphone is located inside the safe working room
2. After any adjustment have been made if needed, you can then push and hold the button on the microphone to talk and speak into the microphone.
